The MS Investigations Program at the University of New Haven invites applications for a Non-tenured Track (NTT) faculty position to be the Coordinator for its new Masters in Digital Forensic Investigations.  In addition to teaching courses at the graduate level, the successful candidate will be actively involved with advising and mentoring students, along with developing experiential learning opportunities and partnerships in the community. Candidates must have a minimum of 15 years’ experience in investigating or prosecuting digital forensic cases.  Successful candidates should have extensive knowledge in constructing/operating digital and cybercrime labs and be capable of negotiating for software and hardware as needed.  

 

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Minimum educational requirement is a Master’s Degree in digital forensic/cybercrime, or in a related investigations area or an equivalent discipline. A Juris Doctorate Degree also may be considered with a high degree of professional experience in Digital Investigations.

Demonstrated experience managing and/or conducting investigations involving digital forensics.

Must be available to travel to conferences for presentations and recruiting purposes.

Desired Qualifications:

Demonstrated experience managing and/or building out a digital forensics/fusion center, or a similar operation such as a data analytics center.
