Today, Lonza is a global leader in life sciences operating across three continents. While we work in science, there’s no magic formula to how we do it. Our greatest scientific solution is talented people working together, devising ideas that help businesses to help people. In exchange, we let our people own their careers. Their ideas, big and small, genuinely improve the world. And that’s the kind of work we want to be part of.

Role Purpose:

A highly skilled IAM Engineer specializing in Privileged Access Management (PAM) to join our global pharmaceutical company’s IAM team. The role requires collaboration with global teams to implement and maintain best practices, ensuring compliance and security in a complex, regulated environment.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Training and Coaching: Provide coaching, training, and guidance to the IAM managed service team, ensuring they are equipped to handle the operational aspects of the PAM environment effectively 24/7.
  • Incident Response and Troubleshooting: Lead the response to security incidents related to privileged access, including root cause analysis and remediation, and provide advanced troubleshooting support for complex PAM issues.
  • Compliance and Auditing: Ensure PAM solutions meet compliance standards, conducting regular audits and reviews of privileged access to maintain security and regulatory adherence.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements within the PAM framework, driving initiatives to enhance security posture and operational efficiency.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as a subject matter expert on PAM, providing regular updates and reports to senior management and other stakeholders regarding the status and performance of the PAM solution.

Key requirements:

  • Technical Expertise: Strong experience with Delinea PAM solutions, including installation, configuration, and management within both IT and OT environments.
  • IAM Knowledge: In-depth understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) principles, especially in the context of privileged access and secure remote access.
  • Leadership and Training: Proven ability to coach, train, and mentor technical teams, with experience in guiding managed service teams in a 24/7 operational environment.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address complex security incidents and implement effective solutions.
  • Security and Compliance: Familiarity with regulatory requirements and best practices related to PAM, and experience in conducting security audits and ensuring compliance. Certifications in CISSP Or SSCP would be an advantage.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
