The Data & Services team is a key differentiator for Mastercard, providing the cutting-edge services that help our customers grow. Focused on thinking big and scaling fast around the globe, this agile team is responsible for end-to-end solutions for a diverse global customer base. Centered on data-driven technologies and innovation, these services include payments-focused consulting, loyalty and marketing programs, business Test & Learn experimentation, and data-driven information and risk management services.

Data & Services comprises of a diverse and dynamic team of experts who enjoy working in a goal-oriented and collaborative culture. As a member of our sales and business development team based in Stockholm, you will be on the frontline - building excitement and generating demand for our unique services - while partnering with solutions experts to achieve the desired end. As part of the team, you will directly contribute to our customers’ success stories as well as to Mastercard’s positioning as a payment’s services leader.

All About the Role:

The Associate Managing Consultant will support business development activities in the Nordics and Baltics Division.

Key responsibilities include:
*Support the sales team in driving new business opportunities across a number of key segments including but not limited to - financial institutions, retail & commerce and acquiring
*Support the team in the end-to-end sales process with customers
*Understanding client’s business needs and solving for the client’s unique problems
*Support the team in ensuring full delivery of services to clients together with product teams
*Working with Mastercard colleagues and clients to identify new business opportunities and ensuring alignment among stakeholders
*Support in creating relevant and customized solutions for our clients leveraging various Mastercard Data & Services capabilities and assets
*Support senior D&S Sales Leads and Account Teams to prepare for key customer meetings including Quarterly Business Reviews , Annual Business meetings and strategic workshops.


All About You:
• Undergraduate or master’s degree and intermediate work experience after completing your undergraduate degree
• Working experience with financial institutions, fintech's or merchants/acquirers including payments
• Strategically focused and solution oriented with proven history of dedicated, high-energy, customer-centric behaviour
• Understanding of channel and partner ecosystem, along with working knowledge of sales cycles and process
• Experience of business development in selling Consulting/ data / information analytics / technology / data driven insights / data as an ingredient / data sets
• Leverage and synthesize data to analyze business challenges and opportunities
• Embrace a high-performance culture and embody a “can-do” attitude
• Balance working autonomously and seeking direction when required within a complex environment
• Proven ability to build strong collaborative working relationships with business partners; you are seen as a trusted and objective advisor
• Strong analytical capabilities and business acumen with the ability to simplify and distill complex business information in a consumable way
• Ability to deal effectively with ambiguity and thrive in a fluid, fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Experienced working in a matrix management environment
• Advanced Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
