The Management Department in the Pompea College of Business at the University of New Haven invites applications for a non-tenure-track position at the Lecturer level beginning in Fall of 2023. This position includes teaching online and in-person, on-ground at our Orange and West Haven campuses, multiple days per week. We are seeking candidates with qualifications and teaching & research interests in Cyber Risk Management. The candidate will take a faculty leadership role in the directing all Cyber Risk Management programs and take an active role in student growth, developing experiential learning opportunities as well as maintaining and strengthening industry relationships.

Qualifications

We are seeking candidates with teaching and research interests in Cyber Risk Management. Successful candidates can expect to teach Cyber Risk Management courses at both the undergraduate and graduate level. This position will be charged with growing the M.S. Cyber Risk Management program, building a program advisory board, building upon and maintaining a set of quality adjunct professors, developing an executive cyber risk program, and creating other opportunities for our 1,700+ business students that should be educated on cyber risk. The intent is to develop and maintain a flagship program that enhances the University of New Haven Pompea College of Business brand. Candidate experience in the field and a strong network in the cyber risk are required.

Successful candidates should have strong communication skills, leadership skills, a demonstrated commitment to teaching excellence and a student orientation. All faculty members are expected to engage in student-focused activities such as advising and career mentoring. As an AACSB accredited institution, faculty members are expected to engage in service activities and maintain an active record of relevant scholarship.
