The Experience:
In today’s dynamic technology environment, it is an exciting time to be a part of the information technology team at Colgate. Our highly technical and innovative team is dedicated to driving growth for Colgate Palmolive in this constantly evolving landscape.
What role will you play as a member of the Colgate’s Information Technology team?
As a Data Warehouse Security Analyst you will be responsible for managing and maintaining security compliances across cloud data warehousing tools like Snowflake, BigQuery.
This position will help drive improvements in security, maintainability and scalability of our application’s data security as well as Role Based Access Control (RBAC) management within our Enterprise Architecture and research new technologies or platforms related to DataWarehouse security and share with the rest of the team, and/or provide consultation to other project teams within the organization, promote guidelines and security standards.
Our teams work on the latest data technologies in the Cloud space including Snowflake, BigQuery, DBT, Apache Airflow, Apache Iceberg, Spark and more. We will be focused on building out and leading the vision for our external and internal data in our modern cloud data platform.
The candidate should be comfortable in playing a lead role towards the evolution of technology deployments across the global footprint.
Who are you…
You are a Data Warehouse Security Analyst -

Plan, implement and maintain data security measures
-
Identify risk, vulnerabilities in data warehousing tools to prevent any cyber attacks
-
Guard sensitive data and determine how best to protect that data from unauthorized entities
-
Understanding of data encryption and methods to apply it
-
Handling PII data and applying security measures around it
-
Researching attempted breaches of data security and rectifying security weaknesses to formulate security policies and procedures
-
Managing, maintaining and improvising RBAC within data warehouse tools
-
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess data protection requirements and implement effective solutions
-
Evaluate and promote forward-looking processes, tools and technologies that help deliver high-quality and more efficiency in terms of data warehouse security

Develop and maintain design and solution documentation

Support day to day business requirements according to global SLA

Ensure the proper use of information technology project management methodology to align with governance practices

Collaborate with cross-functional teams & security teams, develop detailed plans and accurate estimates for completion of build, system testing and implementation of security measures

Mentor and coach junior developer resources

Conduct security analysis or scanning to improve system compliances & governance across data warehousing tools

Stay updated with the latest technological advancement. Adapt to these changes by self-training and research work and evaluate how / where it can make valuable contributions to the security compliances

Build expertise in diverse and emerging technologies and new architectural concepts and principles related to data warehouse security
What you’ll need…(Required)

Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
-
5+ years IT professional experience
-
3+ years experience in Data Security
-
Good knowledge in data modeling and database design
-
Experience with managing and handling database or data warehouse security
-
Working knowledge of databases and SQL
-
Experience working with cloud environments (e.g.- GCP, AWS)
-
Experience with automation via any scripting such as Bash or Python.

Good Communication and Interpersonal Skills
What you’ll need…(Preferred):

Experience working with cloud data warehousing (e.g.- Snowflake, BigQuery)

Experience with containerization technologies (e.g.- Docker, Kubernetes).
