RESPONSIBILITIES

Your main responsibilities include:
As a Cyber Security Lab Automation Specialist:

• You will support our chemical laboratory teams in their digitalization and automation efforts by adhering to OT and IT security standards.
• You will boost the cyber-security maturity of BASF laboratories by acting as a technical cyber-security expert in laboratory digitalization and automation, ensuring secure access to applications, platforms, and networks and enforce BASF security controls. Your goal is to balance cyber-security with usability.
• You will also promote security awareness among colleagues by teaching, advising, and supporting proper cyber-security measures in the lab environment. Contributing as part of an international team, you will adopt new technologies and strategies to enhance cyber security and prevent attacks.
• Your strategic mindset and experience with cyber-security frameworks and chemical laborarory environment, along with your proactive learning approach, make you a valuable team member.

QUALIFICATIONS

Our main requirements:

• You hold a degree in cyber-security, computer science, or a science degree with IT/OT security experience.
• Your communication and interpersonal skills help influence decisions, promote ideas, and build trust with international laboratory stakeholders.
• You handle complex compliance and business issues transparently and adaptively.
• Certifications like GICSP or CompTIA Security+ are a plus.
