The Team
 

The Deloitte India forensic technology is an integral part of the Forensic and Dispute Services practice. The forensic technology services can help client to react quickly and confidently in a crisis, investigation or dispute. We use our global network, extensive industry experience and advanced analytical technology to understand and resolve issues. We also have the capabilities to deliver proactive advice to reduce the risk of future problems.

 

Digital forensics is a multifaceted process for streamlining and simplifying discovery to uncover issues and increase investigation, litigation and regulatory readiness. About the Role

 

As an Assistant Manager in our Forensic Technology Team, you’ll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations: -

 

Work you will do

 

The role in the Forensic Technology Services of the Forensic Services practice would be to support the project management team in the collection, recovery, preservation, and analysis of data from various digital storage devices. The responsibilities are delineated below:

  • Strong knowledge on various digital storage devices. Its purpose is twofold secure and safeguard the data and provide the capability to search the preserved data as part of an investigation.
  • Strong knowledge on digital forensic and cyber forensic work procedures.
  • Review of work submitted by various junior team members through additional / lateral research to maintain agreed upon SLA with multiple clients. The reports submitted by the team members may include research of relevant databases to obtain information on digital evidence as per the client engagement.
  • Provide timely feedback to team members who reports were reviewed with a view to enhance quality.
  • Strong analyzing and report writing skills helps to prepare client deliverables. Help to provide verbal or written update to seniors and client management.
  • Understand the training needs of team members and create / develop / conduct training sessions for the team.
  • Collect the updates from team members and vendors and consolidate in one report for client.
  • Help Deputy Manager / Managers / Sr. Managers in strategizing proposals, Request for Quotation (RFQ) / Engagement Letters, MIS on various projects, time reporting etc.

 

  • Manage vendor on boarding and liaise with third parties such as vendors, credit reporting agencies to gather information / intelligence.

 

Education Qualifications

 

  • Ideal candidates should possess a Graduate/post graduate degree with a specialization in computer science / digital forensic / computer security. Candidates with post graduate degrees in other disciplines including computer science, IT security and Computer management can also apply provided they have relevant work experience.

Certification

 

  • Must have at least one certification like EnCE, Relativity pro or Specialist, or any other equivalent certification.

 

Relevant Experience

 

  • The candidate should have between 3-6 years of work experience and could have worked in sectors such as e-discovery, digital forensic, cyber forensic, IT infrastructure and IT security.
  • Excellent communication and digital investigation report writing and presentations skills.
  • Strong verbal, written communication skills proficiency in meeting facilitation
  • Ability to communicate effectively and tactfully to technical and non-technical individuals’ senior management audiences.
  • Hands-on experience in digital forensic tools like Encase, Nuix, Intella, Relativity, etc.
  • Analytical with a strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Sound knowledge/skills in MS Excel, word and PowerPoint is essential. 

Location and way of working

  • Base location: Mumbai/Bangalore/Delhi
  • This profile involves occasional travelling to client locations.
  • Hybrid is our default way of working. Each domain has customized the hybrid approach to their unique needs.
