EY- Cyber Security AEET- Security Architecture as a Service (SAaaS) – Technology Consulting – CyberSecurity Architect
As part of our EY Cyber GDS Cyber Security – Emerging Technologies team, you shall be responsible for defining, solutioning, integrating, and implementing innovative security solutions which will enhance our service delivery quality, strategic alignment for clients organization business straegy as well as help us strategically elevate technology driven transformation for our clients. You’ll also help to create a positive learning culture, coach and counsel junior team members and help them to develop.
The opportunity
Cyber threats, social media, massive data storage, privacy requirements and continuity of the business as usual require heavy information security measures. As an Enterprise security architect, you will lead the implementation of cyber security solution around enterprise security architecture for our clients and support the clients in their desire to protect the business. You will belong to an international connected team of specialists helping our clients with their most complex information security needs and contributing toward their business resilience. You will be working with our Advanced Security centres to access the most sophisticated tools available to fight against cybercrime
Enterprise Security Architect key responsibilities
- Acquire and develop technology agnostic reference architectures across Enterprise Security Architecture Frameworks such as TOGAF, SABSA, OSA.
- Develop business attribute profiling across different business vertical aligned to significant business drivers – Translate business stakeholders high level Goals in to Busines Drivers
- Reviewing current state enterprise system security architectural foundations and recommend enhancements with target roadmaps
- Develop vendor agnostic security solution architecture with technology reference architecture aligned to various best practices such as CSF, NIST, ISMS, CSA, CIS, SANS and ISACA
- Vital contributor to develop security design patterns, framework, approach, and methodology in the discipline of Enterprise Security Architecture Developing project timelines for ongoing system upgrades
- Ensure to collaborate across domain and solution architects at different sub-competency of Cyber Security and act as CoE Champion to aggregated best practices of security reference architecture.
- Conduct Technology and Infrastructure Security Assessment in terms of threat, vulnerability, and risk aspects of an enterprise security architecture perspective.
- Develop Technology design and program planning to bring in value added solution delivery and ensure strategic alignment and long-term business benefits
- Develop contextual and conceptual architecture across policy, process and technology to ensure align with digital transformation and cloud first strategy of clients across industry verticals.
- Giving consultancy advice for and also deploying/implementing/installation/migration the Security infrastructure e.g Cloud Security (Hosting, Compute, Posture, for IaaS, PaaS & SaaS) firewalls, proxy, IDS, IPS, Endpoint protection systems, Data protection.
- Engage in grooming security analysts and solution architects into Enterprise Security Architects to bring in holistic perspective in every solution delivery
- Ensure participate in Market penetration, develop solution portfolios in line with the market demands and pipeline position across global pursuits
- Ensure quality as hygiene factor across all service and solution delivery and develop metrics around disparate KPI to support parallel competency develop initiatives.
Skills and attributes for success -
- Abstract thinking and applied knowledge in the field of cybersecurity across technology and industry
- Ability to develop design specification and security design pattern for one or more technologies to support strategy and implementation
- Knowledge of various technology and infrastructure program planning and implementation that includes, Network Security, Cloud Security, Systems and Application Security and operating systems such as Windows and Linux.
- Wide implementation and security architecture development and implementation knowledge of various disruptive technologies such as Cloud, Virtualization, SDxx, Automation, AI.ML, Quantum Cryptography, SDWAN, SASE, Zero trust
- Implementation knowledge of ISMS, GRC, Security Operations and Management, Resiliency, BCP
- General information technology principles, standards and information security cross functional collaborative skill sets.
- Grasp of complex risk management and assessment theories and practices, international cybersecurity laws and guidelines.
- Know how and when to apply security concepts and controls such as routing, authentication, and proxy services.
- Knowledge of frameworks such as COBIT, the Control Objectives for Information and Related Technology developed by ISACA, and ITIL.
- Set of guidelines for IT service management, guide security architects in their managerial and administrative duties.
- Familiarity with organizational policies, government regulations, and information technology ethics can also help security analysts in their daily duties.
To qualify for the role, you must have
- Bachelors/Master’s degree and relevant discipline on MS Information security is added advantage
- 9 to 12 years of relevant working experience in technical consulting, GRC, ISMS and deployment/implementation of security infrastructure/Cloud.
- 4 years of Experience in Security infrastructure devices, Cloud security & applications (e.g. Firewalls, IPS/IDS, VPN, SIEM, IP Networking, SPAN/TAP ports, APT).
- 2 Years of relevant Experience in Cloud/SDxx/Zero Trust/and Infrastructure & Network Security architecture Domain knowledge.
Ideally, you’ll also have minimum 2 certification from below
- SABSA
- TOGAF
- CISM or CISSP
- C-Council’s Certified Network Defense Architect (CNDA)
- The GIAC®️ Defensible Security Architecture (GDSA)
- (ISC)²’s CISSP – ISSAP (Information Systems Security Architecture Professional)
