What will you be bringing to the team?

  • Contribute to Security Management activities:
    • Contribute to the implementation of the Cybersecurity regulation;
    • Review and draft ICT Security policies, standards, guidelines;
    • Design a Security Operations Centre;
    • Perform market reviews, product analyses, studies;
    • Lead security-related solutions assessments and labs;
    • Lead and manage Security-related projects;
    • Contribute to the Data Processing Impact Assessment procedures;
  • Define and deliver user awareness programs;
    • Elaborate presentations, messages, demos, videos for illustration for the end-users;
    • Lead lectures, conferences, demos, workshops with EUDA staff and relevant stakeholders
  • Support project and application owners in designing, implementing and maintaining ICT Security:
    • Perform security risk assessment according to state-of-the-art methodologies and practices (including standards such as ISO 27005);
    • Elaborate ICT Security requirements for in-house and outsourced projects and applications;
    • Define and review architectures for security systems;
    • Design and implement Security settings on various kinds of IT components;
    • Coordinate ICT Security activities in the projects, provide support to project managers;
    • Supervise Security testing/assessment throughout the projects;
    • Provide support for remediating Security vulnerabilities
    • Assess security aspects of products and solutions.

Requirements

What do you need to succeed in this position?

  • Master's degree in the ICT field
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or similar are considered an asset.
  • At least 8 years of experience in a similar position
  • Experience in implementing and managing cybersecurity compliance and frameworks.
  • Experience in reviewing, drafting, and implementing ICT security policies, standards, and guidelines.
  • Experience with Security Operations Centres (SOC).
  • Experience in defining and reviewing architectures for security systems.
  • Experience in designing and implementing security settings on various IT components
  • Proven experience in leading and managing security-related projects.
  • Experience in performing security risk assessments using methodologies and practices like ISO 27005.
  • Experience in defining and delivering user awareness programs.
  • Experience in supervising security testing/assessment throughout projects.
  • Experience in providing support for remediating security vulnerabilities.
  • Experience in assessing security aspects of products and solutions.
  • Knowledge and understanding of data protection legislation, rules and procedure
  • Up-to-date knowledge of state-of-the-art methodologies, practices, and standards in cybersecurity
  • Fluency in English.
