Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant-Cloud Security Engineer 

We are seeking a strong candidate to fill the Security Engineer position in the Secure Infrastructure Platform product portfolio at Client focusing primarily on Cloud Security. 

You will be working in a Security Engineering and Automation capacity across Client’s global network. Areas of focus will include technical advisor, troubleshooting technical issues and preparing documentation and training materials. 

Responsibilities 

Work with developers across the organization to drive the adoption of secrets management best practices primarily using HashiCorp Vault 

· Help reduce threats by managing client’s Cloud Security Posture Management and Cloud Workload Protection systems 

· Work in Agile framework 

· Create and maintain architecture and training documentation 

· Prepare and review monthly status reports and statistics. 

· Experience with deploying scalable cloud-based solution architectures on a public cloud platform such as AWS, GCP, or Azure. 

· Technical Understanding of advanced features in AWS like Load Balancer, VPC Flow Logs, EKS, Lambda, WAF's 

· Experience with GitHub, (or similar tools including Chef or Puppet), Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) 

· Experience with automating solutions using one or more languages (i.e., Python, PowerShell, Terraform, or similar). 

· Strong knowledge of cryptography controls and best practices. 

· Knowledge of containerization and container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes. 

· Successfully interfacing and connecting with skilled technologists and non-technical stakeholders 

· Ability to work in a global Agile environment leveraging strong work management, organizational and planning skills 

· Negotiating and consensus building between stakeholders where competing priorities exist, providing well-honed influencing skills 

 

Qualifications we seek in you! 

Minimum Qualifications / Skills 

· Secrets management experience with large scale implementations distributed globally 

· Cloud security build and implementation best practices to support a globally distributed environment across multiple platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP 

· BA degree in computer or information sciences or similar field preferred 

 

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills 

· Desirable 

o HashiCorp Vault 

o Azure Key Vault 

o Prisma Cloud 

o DevOps Methodologies 

o Cloud Security Posture Management 

o Cloud Workload Protection 

o Cloud security across AWS, Azure, GCP 

o Encryption key management 

o Certificate lifecycle management 

o Related security certifications (e.g. CISSP, CCSP, SABSA, ITIL etc.)
