The group within the technology area ECU Platform, consist of three teams driving the development and deliveries of the inhouse Base SW to Battery Monitoring Systems and Inverters and also the overall responsible for the Cyber Security deliveries within Vehicle Propulsion and Energy.

As Engineering Manager you and your team are responsibility for the team technical roadmap and the daily deliveries towards the vehicle programs.


You as a manager should empower and energize the people of your teams, to develop individuals to succeed and flourish as well as to attract new talents and create a good working environment.


You will lead the competence development of your team members to match our strategic roadmap for the short and long term. You will also be expected to support, challenge, and develop the organization, the culture in the teams and in the department.


You will also coach the team using best practice for software development with focus on technical deliveries, flow and continuous improvements.


As Engineering Manager you will staff three teams: Base SW Battery, Base SW Inverter and Cyber Security.


You will also be an active member of the department’s leadership team to ensure the department’s overall strategy, deliveries, efficiency and good collaboration.

 

You and your skills

We are looking for an experienced engineering manager, who has previously built and led software product development teams. You have experience in people management, cross-functional collaboration and embedded software development. You probably have a university degree within engineering or similar, and solid experience from automotive development or related technical field.


Strong people management, collaboration and communication skills are essential when working in a diverse and international setting. You believe in empowering people to build high performing teams. You embrace change and have a willingness to move forward, even when not all information is not available. It is also important that you are continuously developing your own skills, and guide and coach your teams to continuously develop theirs.
