• Manage and execute data engineering projects and tasks, ensuring they meet project objectives.
• Collaborate with other teams to gather and understand data requirements.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines, ensuring data quality and security.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members when needed.
• Contribute to the data engineering strategy and ensure it aligns with the business goals.
• Monitor and optimize data processes for performance and efficiency.
• Assist in the evaluation and implementation of new data technologies.
• Promote collaboration, learning, and best practices within the team.
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 7+ years of relevant work experience
• Proven experience in data engineering
• Proficiencies in data engineering tools and technologies
• A continuous learner that stays up-to-date with industry knowledge and technology
Other Qualifications
• Advanced degree in a relevant field a plus
• Relevant certifications, such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Hortonworks Certified Data Engineer a plus
Work Environment
- Hybrid work model.
- Position based in either Philadelphia, PA or Washington, DC.
