Bring your talents to Sentry’s Information Security team. Our Information Security Analysts scan, monitor, and otherwise evaluate Sentry’s technological infrastructure to identify vulnerabilities, attack paths, and other opportunities to reduce the attack surface. This includes verification and prioritization of vulnerabilities, threat modeling and analysis, threat analysis and incident response related to software and infrastructure. You will collaborate with Information Technology teams to validate vulnerabilities and recommend remediation paths. You will also analyze changes or updates made to infrastructure to ensure compliance with established policies and requirements.

What You'll Do:

As an Information Security Analyst with Sentry, you’ll:

  • Conduct periodic scans of Sentry infrastructure, including datacenter, on-prem and cloud resources.

  • Evaluate severity of and prioritize the overall risk to the organization presented by the findings.

  • Provides guidance and recommendations to Information Technology teams on best practices to mitigate or remediate security risks to the organization.

  • Partners with the SOC as a subject matter expert on infrastructure attacks, including training scenarios, documentation review and alert escalation.

  • Maintain knowledge of current vulnerability and attack trends to better prioritize remediation efforts.

  • Assess overall program metrics, and create detailed reports related to the program for senior leadership.

What it Takes:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent work experience.

  • Knowledge of fundamental/conceptual information security theories, principles and practices.

  • Ability to use existing procedures to solve routine or standard problems.

  • Basic skills in applications, Intrusion Detection (IDS), VPNs, cryptography, Windows or Unix security, multi-factor authentication and a variety of firewall types such as application, client, and network.
