Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to play a key role in the development and lifecycle support of Varian's cybersecurity requirements for products within the digital health space.  As a Senior Product Manager, you will lead product definition and design in collaboration with your fellow product managers, development team, and cross-functional stakeholders.  The individual who fills this role will be responsible for managing the cybersecurity requirements and design inputs for products across the portfolio ensuring compliance with regional and global cybersecurity mandates. Ideally, you will have experience in the healthcare digital product space with a specific focus on cybersecurity.

Key responsibilities: 

  • Establish, maintain, and communicate prioritized product backlog(s) for efficient delivery of cybersecurity mandates. 
  • Engage in the complete software product lifecycle, from concept to delivery and maintenance. 
  • Guide your Engineering and Product Management counterparts on all requirements for cybersecurity compliance.
  • Coordinate dependencies with other product owners for seamless collaboration. 
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitors and attend trade shows as required.

  

Skills & Qualification Required: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience 
  • 8+ years of software product management experience and/or cybersecurity focused compliance roles.
  • Proficient in agile development concepts 
  • Strong communication and value articulation skills
  • Strong in depth knowledge of common cybersecurity related standards such as ISO27001 and SOC2.

Varian is required to comply with all local and applicable regulations that may be associated with vaccine requirements for certain roles.
