Responsible for implementing, configuring, creating policies, and optimizing Carbon Black App Control product to protect. You will work closely with various teams to ensure robust security measures are in place and will play a key role in responding to and mitigating security incidents.
Responsibilities:
• Implement and Manage Carbon Black Solutions:
o Deploy, configure, and manage Carbon Black endpoint security solutions.
o Monitor and maintain the health of Carbon Black App product to ensure optimal performance.
• Threat Detection and Response:
o Utilize Carbon Black to identify, analyze, and respond to security threats and incidents.
o Conduct root cause analysis and develop strategies to prevent future incidents.
• Policy Development and Management:
o Develop and enforce security policies and procedures using Carbon Black.
o Regularly review and update policies to adapt to evolving threats and business needs.
• Security Operations Collaboration:
o Work closely with the Security Operations Center (SOC) to integrate Carbon Black data and alerts into the broader security monitoring and incident response processes.
o Collaborate with incident response teams to investigate and remediate security incidents.
• Reporting and Documentation:
o Generate and analyze reports on security incidents, vulnerabilities, and overall security posture.
o Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of security policies, procedures, and incident response actions.
• Continuous Improvement:
o Stay updated with the latest developments in Carbon Black and endpoint security technologies.
o Identify opportunities for enhancing the security posture through new features, integrations, and improvements in existing solutions.
Good to have requirements:
• Hands-on experience in implementing, configuring, and creating policies within the Carbon Black App Control product.
• No gaps in education/ experience (gaps if any, must be justifiable)
Mandatory Skill Sets:
• Strong understanding of endpoint security, threat detection, and incident response.
• Proficiency in using Carbon Black for threat hunting, forensic analysis, and policy enforcement.
• Familiarity with other cybersecurity tools and platforms is a plus (e.g., SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS).
Preferred Skill Sets:
• Relevant certifications such as Carbon Black Certified Administrator (CBCA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) are preferred.
