SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES: Every team member of the C Spire Crew is charged with bringing our strategic vision of personalized wireless to life. Work in the IT department in Infrastructure to provide and maintain highly specialized information technology solutions for C Spire’s private cloud services and commercial data center and cloud services. We are seeking an experienced Information Security Network Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security, availability, and performance of our company's enterprise open systems and storage. This role will have a primary focus on implementing and maintaining information security policies, procedures, and controls to protect the company's assets and data from internal and external threats.
This position is available as a Network Infrastructure Security Specialist II, Network Infrastructure Security Specialist III, or Senior Network Infrastructure Support Specialist, depending on experience

· Develop and implement secure configurations based on established policies to protect the company's networks, systems, and data
· Review vulnerability assessments and penetration testing findings and mitigate potential security threats and vulnerabilities
· Monitor and analyze device and system logs and network traffic to identify and respond to security incidents and potential threats in support of the Cyber Security team.
· Implement and maintain firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and other security tools to protect the company's networks and systems that support the Cyber security team
· Provide support to Cyber security team with regular security audits and risk assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices
· Manage user access and authentication, including user accounts, passwords, and permissions in compliance with established security policies
· Stay up-to-date with emerging security threats, trends, and technologies, and make recommendations to improve the company's security posture
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve security incidents and vulnerabilities
· Respond to security incidents in coordination with Cyber security IR plan.
· Collaborate with colleagues in order to build strategies that enable network growth and enhanced mechanisms for impeccable service delivery

· Must possess good organizational skills and be able to demonstrate a dynamic sense of responsibility and ownership
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
· At least 3 years of experience in information security or systems administration, preferably in a large enterprise environment
· Knowledge of security standards and frameworks such as NIST, ISO, and PCI-DSS
· Experience with security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and vulnerability scanners
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate security risks
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
· Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ are a plus
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS: Must be able to sit for long periods of time and use computer keyboard and/or mouse, while viewing computer screen. Must be able to lift 50lbs., bend, stoop, and crawl, have finger/wrist/arm mobility, and finger dexterity. Must be able to work a flexible schedule shared by other department members. Occasional overnight travel required. Valid driver license required.
