Position Summary
Are you passionate about cybersecurity and cloud technologies? Do you have deep expertise in Oracle Cloud and a knack for solving complex security challenges? Deloitte is seeking an Oracle Cloud Cyber Security Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing strategic guidance and technical expertise to ensure the security and compliance of Oracle Cloud environments for our clients.
Work You’ll Do
As an Oracle Cloud Cyber Security SME, you will:
- Lead the design, implementation, and management of security solutions for Oracle Cloud environments.
- Conduct security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices tailored to Oracle Cloud.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures into cloud-based applications and infrastructure.
- Provide expert guidance on identity and access management (IAM), data protection, and threat detection within Oracle Cloud.
- Stay updated with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies to continuously enhance the security posture of Oracle Cloud environments.
- Mentor and train junior security professionals on Oracle Cloud security best practices.

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on cloud security.
- Deep expertise in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Oracle Cloud security services.
- Strong understanding of security frameworks and standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS.
- Proficiency in identity and access management (IAM), data protection, and threat detection technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to travel 0-25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Washington, D.C., Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to Washington, D.C. and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $126,000 to $210,000.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
