Senior Cybersecurity Project Manager

Part of Swift’s Global Security unit, this Cybersecurity technical Project Manager role will be responsible for supervising the planning, execution, and delivery of complex cybersecurity projects within Swift.

What to expect

In this role, you will:

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to define project goals, technical requirements, and results.
• Facilitate decision-making processes to ensure project alignment with organizational goals.
• Ensure that all projects adhere to the organization’s security policies and frameworks.
• Manage project timeline ensuring it aligns with business objectives.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related activities, maintaining regular communication with team members.
• Present project status, risks, and issues to senior management.
• Provide technical guidance and support to project teams on cybersecurity and emerging threats.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of the project and adjust plans as necessary to address any technical challenges.
• Manage project budgets, ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently and cost-effectively.
• Supervise the procurement of tools, software, and services to support project activities.

Preferred qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. A Master’s degree or equivalent experience or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CISSP, CISM) is a plus.
• Are able to demonstrate ability in project management, with at least 3 years focused on cybersecurity projects.
• Consistent track record of successfully leading large-scale, technical cybersecurity projects from initiation to completion.
• In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and frameworks.
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• PMP, CISSP, CISM, or equivalent certifications are preferred.
