WSP is currently initiating a search for a Part-Time Fare Payments Cybersecurity Lead Analyst for our Washington DC office. Your Impact
- IT Security Monitoring:
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to proactively monitor and uphold the IT security of the Automatic Fare Collection system, ensuring the system's integrity and confidentiality.
- Incident Response:
- Investigate and resolve IT security issues and incidents pertaining to the Automatic Fare Collection system, employing effective measures to mitigate risks and prevent future occurrences.
- Project Participation:
- Engage in projects associated with the Automatic Fare Collection system, contribute insights on new security technologies, and participate in the review of technical implementations and processes to ensure robust IT security controls.
- Policy Development:
- Contribute to the development of new IT security policies, standards, and guidelines for the Automatic Fare Collection system, and update existing ones to align with industry best practices and compliance requirements.

Who You Are
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT or Computer Engineering with a minimum of 7 years of pertinent experience in IT security. Equivalent experience in lieu of Degree will also be considered.
- Profound understanding of the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) and other security best practices applicable to payment card applications.
- Proficiency in one or more of the following domains:
- System Security: Comprehensive knowledge of Host and Endpoint Security, Identity and Access Management, Database Security, Network Security, Virtualization
- Security, Application Security, Threat Analysis, Vulnerability Assessment, and Security Testing across various operating systems, networks, and applications.
- Cryptography: In-depth knowledge of Symmetric-Key and Public-Key Cryptography, as well as Cryptography Standards and Technologies.
- Cyber Security Operations: Proficiency in Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) and the operation and management of Security Operations Centre (SOC).
- Demonstrated capacity to effectively plan and execute workloads in a challenging and fast-paced environment.

Compensation
Expected Salary (all locations): $95,000-169,000
WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location. WSP USA reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s sex or other status protected by local, state, and/or federal law.
