At Public Cloud Services Security we implement and improve public Cloud security capabilities, in close collaboration with the Cyber Security function, to ensure the security of Danske Bank cloud infrastructure and applications on external Cloud providers. E.g. Amazon Web Services.

We are currently assembling a team of 3 Engineers, located in Copenhagen, Denmark and/or Vilnius, Lithuania.

You will:

  • Be a part of a team of highly skilled engineers who are building the security capabilities for core infrastructure of the public cloud Platforms for both AWS and Microsoft Azure, ensuring alignment with organizational security requirements
  • Collaborate closely with the cyber security team to develop and refine security requirements and translate them into actionable security controls and capabilities
  • Develop and automate security controls, governance processes, and compliance validation for cloud environments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and other DevOps methodologies
  • Implement and maintain continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD) pipelines with a focus on embedding security practices and tools
  • Conduct security assessments and analysis for cloud-based applications and infrastructure and lead the remediation efforts
  • Serve as a technical security advisor and guide to the Public Cloud Services team and wider Danske Bank organization
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud security trends, threats, and technologies, and proactively introduce relevant innovations and improvements to the team

About you:

  • 3+ years of experience in Cloud Security Engineering with a strong focus on AWS and/or Azure
  • Proven expertise in DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.), configuration management (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, etc.), and back and/or front-end development
  • In-Depth knowledge of cloud security best practices, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, network security, and monitoring in public cloud environments
  • Hands-on experience with security tools and technologies such as vulnerability scanners, Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM), etc
  • Strong experience with any of the following programming languages and frameworks: Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, C#, .net core, JSON, YAML, React, and NodeJS
  • Containerization using Kubernetes and Docker
  • Upper-Intermediate English skills, both written and spoken
  • Certifications such as AWS Certified Security – Specialty, Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate, or similar are highly desirable

This position can be located both in Lithuania and Denmark. If you are hired in Lithuania, the applicable salary range rom 3480 EUR to 5220 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
