The Technology Risk Manager is responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating technology-related risks across the organization. This role involves developing and implementing risk management strategies, policies, and procedures to safeguard the organization’s information assets, technology infrastructure, and business operations. The Technology Risk Manager collaborates with cross-functional teams, including IT, cybersecurity, compliance, and business units, to ensure robust risk management practices are in place and aligned with the organization's overall risk appetite and regulatory requirements.

Continuous Risk & Compliance Management & Reporting

• Perform and encourage continuous and effective risk management practice within your activities.
• Promote risk-based decision taken. Ensure effective escalation of key risks, compliance breach and non-ethical issues. 
• Demonstrate and encourage ethical behaviors. Promote Business continuity best practices and compliance to applicable regulations and internal PPPs (Policy, Process and Procedures).

Risk Identification and Assessment:

• Identify, assess, and prioritize technology risks, including cybersecurity, data privacy, third-party risk, cloud security, and emerging technology risks.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to evaluate the potential impact of technology risks on the organization.

Risk Mitigation and Control Implementation:

• Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and controls to manage identified risks effectively.
• Ensure that appropriate security measures, policies, and procedures are in place to mitigate risks to acceptable levels.

Governance and Compliance:

• Establish and maintain a technology risk management framework, policies, and standards aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with legal, compliance, and audit teams to ensure adherence to relevant regulations, such as GDPR, CCPA, PCI-DSS, and other applicable standards.

Monitoring and Reporting:

• Develop and maintain key risk indicators (KRIs) and metrics to monitor and report on the effectiveness of risk management efforts.
• Prepare regular risk assessment reports and present findings to senior management, risk committees, and other stakeholders.

Incident Management and Response:

• Collaborate with IT and cybersecurity teams to develop and test incident response plans for technology-related incidents.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders during technology risk events to ensure timely response and recovery.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Work closely with IT, cybersecurity, data protection, and business teams to embed risk management practices within technology initiatives and projects.
• Provide risk advisory support to project teams to ensure that technology risks are identified and mitigated during the project lifecycle.

Awareness and Training:

• Develop and deliver risk awareness and training programs to enhance the organization’s understanding of technology risks and risk management practices.

Stay updated on the latest industry trends, threats, and best practices related to technology risk management.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Cybersecurity, Risk Management, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in technology risk management, IT governance, cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as CISM, CRISC, CISSP, or similar are highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of risk management frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, COBIT) and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels
