Products developed in our group include: 

• Microsoft Defender for Cloud (MDC), disrupting #CloudSecurity by building solutions for protecting multi-cloud workloads. This includes Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM), which finds weak spots across cloud configurations, helps strengthen the overall security posture, and identifies risk, as well as Threat Protection, which detects real-time attacks and helps SOC teams respond and mitigate them. 

• Microsoft Exposure Management, a comprehensive solution designed to help organizations proactively assess, monitor, and reduce security risks across their digital environments. It provides real-time visibility into potential vulnerabilities and security exposures, enabling IT and security teams to prioritize remediation efforts based on risk severity. By leveraging AI-driven insights and automated workflows, Microsoft Exposure Management empowers businesses to enhance their security posture, streamline compliance, and mitigate threats before they lead to security incidents, ensuring a more resilient and secure digital infrastructure. 

What will you be working on 
We’re seeking a skilled full stack engineer to lead the end-to-end design, development, and delivery of a new user experience for an incubation focused on AI-driven remediation operations. This role will involve designing and implementing intuitive, responsive interfaces that enable teams to quickly mobilize, manage, and resolve security threats in real-time. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, including other development teams, AI specialists, and security experts, to create a seamless and efficient platform that drives remediation processes from detection to resolution. Your contributions will directly impact how organizations respond to and mitigate security risks in a dynamic and evolving threat landscape. 

Responsibilities

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will have the incredible opportunity to work on business-critical initiatives that directly contribute to the future of Microsoft's security business. You must be deeply technical and able to ramp up in new areas quickly, as your responsibilities will span many areas of Microsoft Security products, as well as all layers of the cloud technology stack. Excellent design and architecture skills, the ability to grow top-notch individual contributor dev talent, and proven capabilities in planning, designing, and executing high-quality feature work on schedule are all key expectations of the role. 

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in Software Engineering 

• 5+ years of experience with Angular, React, or a similar framework 

• 5+ years of proven hands-on technical skills working on large-scale production systems in cloud programming environments using modern architecture 

• BSc or MSc in Software Engineering or Computer Engineering 

• Team player with excellent collaboration, communication, and leadership skills 

Advantages

• Experience with the Azure cloud environment
