Our McKinney, TX facility has a multi-faceted Assistant Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) administrative position, working in support of Special Programs. You will help, administer, and maintain a comprehensive security program in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment. Your success in this position will rely heavily on your ability to multi task as you work under limited supervision paying close attention to details as you develop and implement solutions to complex security issues. Your strong interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, will required on a daily basis as you will routinely work with all levels of management and government customers.

What You Will Do

• Implement and ensure compliance with the DoD Manual 5205.07 Volumes 1-4, 5220.22-M NISPOM, Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs), and related Industrial Security Guidance Manuals or Special Program Security directives
• Implement security policies, procedures, and documentation specific to the program such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and addendums, Operation Security (OPSEC) Plans, Concept of Operations (CONOPs), etc.
• Assist in the creation, update, and administration of security education, training and awareness to include program indoctrinations and debriefings
• Conduct self-inspections and recommend / implement corrective actions
• Participate in Government Inspections, as well as implement corrective actions
• Assist in presentation preparation for program status and reviews (internal and external)
• Assist the lead Contractor Program Security Officer with special access program facility administration, in accordance with Intelligence Community Directive (ICD)705 related to the physical security and construction requirements for SAPFs and SCIFs; submitting preconstruction and accreditation packages to include Fixed Facility Checklists (FFCs) and Tempest assessments.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance."
• Typically requires a university degree in Business Management, Security and/or Risk Management, Government Policy, Information Management, Criminal Justice, or other related field of study and a minimum of 2 years prior security experience OR an Advanced degrees may be considered in lieu of prior experience.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Prior SAP Personnel Security experience
• Experience in the Special Program Environments and understanding of government guidance to include the NISPOM and relevant DoD Volumes
• Security related certification and training courses
• Experience with SIMS and JPAS databases
• Working knowledge of Joint SAP Implementation Guide (JSIG)

The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
