Job Summary

This position is primarily responsible for conducting information security risk assessments of third parties who have contractual requirements to protect information assets from unauthorized use, disclosure, or other actions that could adversely impact HCSC. Specific position responsibilities include conducting risk assessments, documenting, and reporting risks identified in the assessment process, providing recommendations for mitigating identified risks, and tracking remediation activities through completion. Secondary responsibilities include conducting third party supplier contract reviews, customer contract reviews, Request for Proposal (RFP) reviews, and performing pre-contract third party security analysis. Additional responsibilities may include managing projects and resources to mature the information security third party risk assessment program.

NOTE:  This hybrid role is located in CHICAGO IL ~ relocation will not be offered; sponsorship is not available.

Required Job Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of IT / IS work experience with a broad range of exposure to systems analysis, application development, database design and administration OR 6 years of related work experience OR 6 years of related military experience.
* Understanding of IT / IS concepts and how to articulate those in terms of risk.
* Verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to articulate complex concepts to various technical and non-technical audiences.
* Experience with and understanding of overall GRC concepts.
* Collaborate well with individuals across the business and IT, as well as at all levels of the organization.
* Interpret internal or external business issues and recommends best practices
* Take initiative to solve complex problems; takes an “outside –in” perspective to identify innovative solutions
* Work independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations

Preferred Job Qualifications:
* Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field.
* Experience with a GRC solution.

Base Pay Range$58,800.00 - $130,100.00
