Red Team Operations Environment - Internship Project

At Orange Cyberdefense, our ethical hacking team is responsible for identifying vulnerabilities in our customers' systems. They test cyber defenses daily, looking for weaknesses and areas that need improvement. Based in our Rotselaar office, the team plays a key role in our preventive cyber strategy.

The ethical hacking team currently looking for 1 student to set up a dedicated Red Team virtual environment that can be automatically deployed, configured, and destroyed as needed.

This environment should include several key platforms:

•  An attack server equipped with all the tools and utilities a hacker might need.
•  A C2 server (Command and Control) for managing operations.
•  A phishing server for conducting targeted attacks.

These core components form the foundation, and the automation for setup and tear down can be easily expanded as needed.

For this project we're looking for a student that has:

• An understanding of virtual machines (VMs) or containers (e.g., Docker) to create isolated environments
• A proficiency with Linux operating systems
• A familiarity with scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automating deployment and configuration tasks
• A knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible for automated setup and teardown

We expect this internship project to take about 12 weeks.
The internship will take place in our office in Rotselaar and can start in Q1 or Q2 of 2025.
