Join the Thomson Reuters Risk & Compliance organization to help fostering risk management culture, support the establishment of new, and delivery of existing core processes designed to evaluate and manage risks as well as regulatory compliance aspects associated with the use of technology, cyber and information security, product engineering and use of data in the modern era.

About the Role
In this opportunity as a Manager, Technology Risk and Compliance , you will:

  • Support Director in independent review and challenge of risk mitigation efforts across various functions like Information Security and Product Engineering.
  • Contribute to the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Technology segments' risk maturity in alignment with the Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
  • Oversee and enhance technology risk reporting across Thomson Reuters technology segments, ensuring alignment with industry standards and frameworks.
  • Further mature risk adoption across supported functions, driven by data and aligned with the ERM Framework, policies, standards, and guidelines.
  • Conduct independent review and challenge of risk and issues registers to ensure risks are identified and managed according to risk appetite and tolerance.
  • Offer subject matter expert guidance on technology risk-related matters to the wider team.
  • Ensure the integrity, completeness, and accessibility of risk and compliance documentation.

About You
You’re a fit for this role if your background includes:

  • Relevant University Degree or equivalent industry experience in technology risk and compliance.
  • 5+ years’ experience in a senior Risk & Compliance role, preferably in a regulated industry.
  • Solid understanding of industry frameworks, standards, and practices such as COBIT, ITIL, ISO, and NIST.
  • Strong grasp of various concepts across infrastructure and application design.
  • Enjoy collaboration, cross-functional exposure, and are driven to help others and take initiatives forward.
  • Ability to think critically, analyze complex problems, and develop strategic plans to mitigate risks and leverage partnerships effectively.
  • Demonstrate the ability to stay informed of industry trends, regulatory developments, and best practices.
