About the IT Audit Service Line

Where precision meets passion! Our IT Audit team collaborates with external auditors to assess the reliability and integrity of IT systems used in financial reporting. Our primary objective is to ensure compliance and regulatory requirements and industry standards, including SOX compliance. We conduct thorough audits of IT controls, systems, and processes, delivering audit reports and recommendations that strengthen IT controls and mitigate risks for clients undergoing external audits. The IT Audit team sits within our Assurance service line and works closely with a range of clients across different industry sectors.

As an Assistant Manager some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing the approach to IT risk on an exciting small portfolio of clients and building and maintaining good working relationships with all colleagues and clients
  • Executing assigned client engagements from start to completion, which includes the overall planning, execution, direction, and completion of engagements and managing the engagements to budget
  • Interacting with key client management to gather information, resolve problems, and make recommendations for business and process improvements
  • Assisting Directors and Senior Managers in the production of relevant proposals and business development meetings and calls, including designing the needed IT audit approach and showcasing of data analytics capability
  • Managing an IT audit team members on specific assignments, with specific line management responsibility to ensure IT audit work is appropriately completed to satisfy audit objectives
  • Assisting partners in understanding IT audit risk, developing a data analytical approach and overall scope of IT audit services

  • 4 – 5 years of IT Audit experience at a top international Accounting / Consulting firm
  • Bachelor's degree in an Accounting or Information Technology-related field is required
  • Professionally qualified (CPA, CISA, CISSP, or CISM)
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills are required, Arabic speaking is advantageous
  • Exceptional client service and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships, are expected
  • Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing priorities in a rapidly growing, fast-paced, interactive, results-based team environment is required
  • Ability to document testing in a highly detailed and exacting manner is expected
  • Excellent computer software skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications, are expected
  • The willingness and ability to work additional hours, as needed, and travel to various client sites
