Role Description

• IB, AFCC and TDI Engineering Technology Risk and Control (R&C) is the technology risk function within the Deutsche Bank Technology Data and Innovation (TDI) division. IB (Investment Bank) tech R&C has key responsibilities including strategy, design and implementation of the control framework, audit management and advisory and mitigation and expert advice on key control principles.
• One key function within R&C is the Audit Management and Advisory (AM&A) group. The group’s specific objective is to work with all the IB, AFCC & TDI Engineering Technology, NFRM (Non-Financial Risk Management), RMG (Regulatory Management Group), Group Audit and all other stakeholders on comprehensive audit management across internal, external and regulatory audits.  The function’s primary stakeholders are the IB AFCC & TDI Engineering technology CIOs and their teams.
• You will need to understand the risks associated with the Bank’s Technology Platforms, ongoing/existing risks & control related programs, and manage the resolution of these risks as appropriate.

Your key responsibilities

• Engage the highest levels of IB AFCC & TDI Engineering Technology Senior Management and risk and control leads regarding audit related matters.
• Empower senior management on governance of all audit findings.
• Influence audit related policies/standards.
• Support the design and implementation of frameworks to proactively manage the entire audit lifecycle process.
• Leverage existing platforms to reduce administrative efforts of coordinating a large number of findings.
• Engage with IB AFCC & TDI Engineering Technology DCO (Divisional Control Officer) and group audit when necessary, through the audit lifecycle.
• Oversee the identification an overall management of self-identified findings within the division. Provide education and training on risk and control culture, audit management processes and SII creation, to guide key stakeholders to appropriately assess risks in their areas, respond to audits, audit finding closures and provide updates.
• Support the creation of high quality, demonstrable management action plans that are SMART.
• Validate completeness of audit closure requests, via testing of design and Operating effectiveness of the controls.
• Perform meaningful analysis of audit and audit related information, correlating new data to identify important trends that demand senior management attention.

Your Skills and Experience

• B.Tech/BE or M.Tech/ME/MCA/M.Sc. in Computer Science 
• Extensive prior experience within technology audit function and/or risk and control role.
• A technologist with 5+ years of experience in Information Security/IT Risk Management
• The ability to manage multi-tasks assignments and efficiently prioritize workload with limited supervision and resilient under pressure.
• The ability to quickly build a network in the business and among subject matter experts.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate risks and control processes.
• Proficient communication skills; fluent verbal, and written English
• Ability to work on multiple streams in parallel
• Advance knowledge of Excel
• Good understanding of risk management methodology and principles (e.g. NIST, ISO 27001)
• IT, InfoSec or IT Risk Management certifications is a big plus (e.g. ITIL, CISSP, CISM, etc.)
• The ability to deal with people at all levels in a global matrix organization.
