Context/ROLE

In 2024, Spirii, founded in Danemark with a mission to advance global e-mobility platform offerings and make Electric Vehicle (EV) charging seamless and accessible for all, became part of the Edenred Group.

This strategic alliance aims to accelerate Edenred mission to revolutionize the EV charging industry and spearhead the electrification and decarbonization of transportation across Europe, North America and Latin America.

By combining Spirii´s cutting-edge platform technology, comprehensive CPO services and industry expertise with Edenred's extensive global presence and client base, we are poised to lead the global adoption of EVs.

We are looking for an IT Security Lead responsible for overseeing Spirii’s information security program, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of all IT systems and data.

YOUR ROLE

The IT Security Lead role involves developing security policies, managing risk, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and serving as the go-to person for all IT security-related questions. You will act as the primary point of contact for all security-related initiatives and incidents, working closely with other departments to protect the organization’s digital assets.

Also, you will serve as a liaison between internal IT and Engineering departments. They will be responsible for the security posture of internal IT systems, implementing and maintaining robust security measures to protect the organization's data and IT systems.

• Adopt and enforce Edenred security policies, procedures, and guidelines to manage risks effectively.
• Ensure that all security policies and procedures are documented and kept up to date.
• Ensure that internal IT systems and tools are configured and used according to internal security procedures.
• Ensure that security controls are effective and regularly tested.
• Work with internal and external IT teams to design secure network architectures and system configurations.
• Work closely with the engineering and product departments to ensure the integration of security practices into the software development lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and industry standards (e.g., GDPR, DORA, NIS-2, ISO 27001).
• Collaborate with senior management to communicate security risks and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential threats to the organization’s IT infrastructure and data.
• Oversee the incident response process, ensuring timely identification, containment, and resolution of security incidents.
• Maintain detailed records of security incidents, risk assessments, and compliance audits.
• Develop and implement security awareness programs to educate employees on cybersecurity best practices.
• Collaborate with external stakeholders, including vendors and regulatory bodies, to ensure comprehensive security management.

YOUR PROFILE

Experience

• > 5 years’ experience in a role of IT Security, IT Risk or IT Audit
• > 2 years’ experience in leadership position
• Extensive knowledge of Security and Risk Frameworks as well as software development best practices
• Professional security management certification is a plus (e.g. CISSP, CISM, CISA) or proven experience with International security framework (e.g. NIST, CIS, ISO/IEC 27001)
• Proven experience in banking, payment, insurance (with relevant certifications such as PCI DSS, PSD2, ISO27001) is a strong plus
• Experience in integrating security into product development lifecycle (Agile) is a strong plus
• International experience or working in international environment is a strong plus.

Knowledge and Skills

• Excellent understanding of cybersecurity risks in digital business and payment industry in particular
• Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to develop and communicate objectives, risks and maintain alignment between risk levels, compliance and business
• Excellent presentation skills it's a must
• A good knowledge of cyber risk frameworks, secure development best practices, cloud security or payment solutions security will be a strong plus.
