Your day at NTT DATA

The Security Managed Services Engineer (L3) is a seasoned engineering role, responsible for providing a service to clients by proactively identifying and resolving technical incidents and problems.

Through pre-emptive service incident and resolution activities, as well as product reviews, operational improvements, operational practices, and quality assurance this role will maintain a high level of service to clients.

The primary objective of this role is to ensure zero missed service level agreement (SLA) conditions and is responsible for managing tickets of high complexity, conducts advanced and complicated tasks, aware of client's high level and low-level security architecture and provides resolution to a diverse range of complex problems.

This position uses considerable judgment and independent analysis within defined policies and practices and applies analytical thinking and deep technical expertise in achieving client outcomes, while coaching and mentoring junior team members across functions.

The Security Managed Services Engineer (L3) may also contribute to / support on project work as and when required.

What you'll be doing

Basic Qualification: – Graduate or above.

At least two security certifications viz. Palo Alto
Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE), CCNP Security, Check Point Certified Security Expert (CCSE), AV Specialist VMWare Digital Workspace 2022 (VCP-DW 2022),etc or any such equivalent

At least one certification each on any two cloud
technologies in both network and security. In case
a resource is not certified on a cloud, then the resource
should be certified with at least one cloud within 12
months of Purchase Order, followed by the next cloud
certification within 24 months of Purchase Order.
The Bidder should ensure that the Resource is certified
as CEH, within 18 months of Purchase Order.

The Bidder should ensure that the Resource is certified
at least in ITIL Foundation within 6 months of Purchase
Order

Minimum overall 5 years of experience in handling
security related products & services out of which 3
years’ experience should be in SIEM, UEBA & SOAR ,
Firewall, EDR, IPS, WAF/PAM/LB/AD/VM Tools.

Administration of SIEM environment (eg:
deployment of solution, user management, upgrades and
patch deployment, addition/deletion of log sources, configuration management, change management, report
management, manage backup and recovery etc)

Collects/updates threat intelligence feeds from
various sources and Integration of customized
threat intelligence content feeds provided by the Threat

Familiarity with security frameworks and standards,
such as NIST, ISO 27001, ITIL/ITSM etc.

Proficiency in security incident response procedures, methodologies, and best practices.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to
identify and mitigate security incidents effectively.

Strong communication and collaboration skills to work
with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, 24/7 SOC
environment, including on-call and shift rotations.
