The role

As a Cybersecurity Automation Engineer at Hitachi Digital Services, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing automation solutions to enhance our AWS security processes. You’ll be responsible for streamlining security workflows by utilizing the XSOAR platform, scripting automation, and integrating various security tools. Collaborating closely with the Security Operations Center (SOC) team, you will build custom playbooks, optimize incident response, and lead the automation of repetitive security tasks. Your work will ensure compliance with security standards, including NIST and PCI, while actively contributing to a dynamic, innovative cybersecurity team. This hybrid role is based in Dallas, TX, with no relocation available.

What you’ll bring

• 5+ years of IT experience with a strong focus on AWS security and infrastructure.
• Hands-on expertise with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Proficiency in Palo Alto’s XSOAR platform, including playbook development and automation scripting (Python preferred).
• Ability to design and maintain security automation solutions for AWS environments.
• Experience collaborating with SOC teams to enhance incident response workflows.
• Strong understanding of Threat Intelligence Management (TIM) features in XSOAR.
• Familiarity with regulatory security standards like NIST, PCI, ISO 27001, HIPAA.
• Palo Certified Security Automation Engineer (PCSAE) is preferred.
• Experience working on FedRamp-compliant projects is a plus.
• US Citizenship or Green Card is required.
