Digital Consultants is seeking an Information Assurance Analyst Sr to support a government customer. The successful candidate will possess extensive experience in supporting Federal IT organizations with Assessments and Accreditations, ensuring that all information systems, products, and services meet organizational standards and end-user requirements.

Duties to include:

• Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for Federal Assessments & Authorizations (A&A), providing sound advice and recommendations to lower risk and enhance the overall defensive posture of the organization.
•  Manage the inventory and categorization of information systems, selecting and monitoring security controls in preparation for the Assessment and Authorization process for new and existing systems.
• Implement NIST guidance related to the Risk Management Framework and support Plan of Action and Milestone (POAM) reviews.
• Conduct interviews with application and system developers to document system operations surrounding security controls.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective risk management strategies are developed and executed. 

Requirements

• Clearance Required: Secret

Education:

• Bachelor Degree cybersecurity, computer science, informational technology, or related fields; 
• Additional (4) four years of experience may be substituted for a degree

Certifications: 

• Relevant certificates (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA, CompTIA Security+, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+), Security Certified Network Specialist (SCNS)) are preferred

Experience

• Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in supporting Federal IT organizations in accomplishing Assessments and Accreditations.
• Minimum of eight (8) years of overall cybersecurity experience.
• Proven experience in managing security controls and conducting comprehensive assessments.
