Nightwing is seeking to hire an experienced Cyber Security Engineer (Dotcom) to support our customer in North Carolina.

Job Description:

Working as part of a small cross-functional team, this individual will participate in development and support the team's effort to maintain a secure web presence. The individual will be responsible for managing web security applications to monitor and mitigate attacks on web facing applications.

Operational:

Ensure internal and external data security, adhering to best practices and compliance standards. Implement observability across platforms for application monitoring and alerting. Deploy threat detection and mitigation techniques to ensure data/application security. Work with auditors to ensure security compliance.

Location: Raleigh / Morrisville, NC

Essential Qualifications:

• 5+ years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree are required
• Functional comprehension of web application architecture.
• Understanding of PCI Security requirements.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A combination of relevant work experience and education that would equal 1-3 years of relevant work experience with a record of accomplishment.

Desired Skills:

• Functional understanding of webservice Client-side protection techniques for PCI DSS compliance.
• Understanding of web application filtering, Botnet protection, API security.

Engineering/Other Technical Positions:

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.

The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.  U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
