In your role as the Defense Mission Expert and primary action officer on our Digital Battlespace Platform, you will be the cornerstone of planning, resource alignment, and the execution of strategic directives. Your responsibilities will extend to leading a robust team of engineers and growth team resources, ensuring effective delivery of mission outcomes across the globe.


You will utilize your extensive technical acumen to spearhead engineering and execution teams to achieve product delivery objectives. Your role will involve detailed planning, optimal resource allocation, and resolving routine issues in collaboration with business and technology teams. You will oversee and implement standardized approaches to safely deliver products and lead the integration of other capabilities across the Defense Enterprise.

In this capacity, you will impart your technical expertise, introduce best practices, and employ tools to build mature business practices and deliver best-in-class capabilities. 

Your leadership will be pivotal as you guide your team in designing, defining, developing, testing, and delivering solution components. You will act as a liaison between clients and developers to ensure requirements are met, and solutions are delivered proficiently. With your dedication to process establishment and fostering technological innovation, you will make a lasting impact on the Department of Defense's commercial product and solution initiatives.

You Have:

  • 15+ years of experience as a leader in the DoD
  • Experience with managing multiple projects, including adjusting to shifting priorities and solving problems quickly
  • Experience with managing project teams, including direct responsibility for people development
  • Knowledge of solutions architecture, web technologies, relational databases, networks, Cloud, and cyber security and Army Systems and Communications
  • Ability as a project manager to establish and report on cost, schedule, performance metrics, or deliverables
  • Ability to research, develop, organize, and present materials for senior company and DoD leadership
  • Ability to work with minimal guidance to drive, schedule, and execute tasks for new solutions, features, integrations, deployments, and operations
  • Ability to travel up to 40% of the time
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with Software and Security Operations, including DevSecOps, Software CI/CD and Supply Chain, or Vulnerability Management
  • Experience with Security Compliance, including RMF or ATO processes, NIST, FedRAMP, or GRC tools
  • Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills, including communication of technical concepts, presentations, and facilitating requirements or technical meetings
  • Top Secret clearance
  • Master's degree
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), DAWIA PM Level III, or equivalent project management certification
  • DoD 8570 IAT II certification such as Security+ or CISSP

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $139,400.00 to $259,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
