The candidate will be responsible for the design, configuration, integration, maintenance, security, management, monitoring and troubleshooting of Cisco and Palo Alto routers, switches, FEXs, ASAs and Firewalls and similar equipment. The ideal candidate will be experienced and well versed in both global and intranet networks, current commercial internet operations and best practices, communication protocols and associated technology. This position will require the design, development, administration, tuning and deployment of various physical and virtual network architectures. Experienced in network automation tools such as Ansible, Nagios and Manage Engine. Strong verbal and written skills are a must. Additionally, experience in software defined networks and virtualization in VMWare, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, Oracle etc.) is highly desirable.
Secondary skills should include VMware/ESXi level administration and maintenance. Familiarity with Microsoft domain level technology and services to include Active Directory and group policy management. The ideal candidate should also have experience with desktop and server operating systems (Microsoft, RedHat and/or Ubuntu).
You will be a member of a highly optimized, dynamic, collaborative professional team. The candidate should be comfortable with rapidly providing solutions to urgent requirements in a non-enterprise setting.
Position requires:
TS/SCI with favorable polygraph.
Professional certifications: Cisco CCNP, CISSP
Education/Experience: Bachelors in STEM concentration and 10 years of related experience.
