What You'll Do:

As a Sr. Regional Transportation Safety and Compliance Specialist, you’ll be at the forefront of our innovation, driving safety and transportation regulatory compliance for our North America supply chain.  You'll collaborate with a diverse group of passionate individuals to deliver sustainable solutions to advance mobility, improve wellbeing and enhance modern life.

 

What We're Looking For:

  • Focal Point of Contact for Emergency Response Calls from CHEMTREC in North America region
  • Collect and Report Transportation Safety and Compliance metrics
  • Coordinate efforts regarding Lubrizol’s Emergency Response Process with CHEMTREC Representatives.
  • Collaborate with Global Transportation Safety and Compliance Manager, Regional Transportation Safety and Compliance Managers on appropriate supply chain safety and compliance work processes for all transportation modes.  Coordinate the effort to embed these process and procedures into daily logistics SOP.
  • Monitor and report logistic related incidents.  Participate in Root Cause Investigation, analyze the incidents and initiate effort to continuously improve the transportation safety performance.
  • Perform system maintenance and consultation in SAP on applicable transportation regulations.
  • Manage the regional Transportation Incident Response process and constantly review with relative personnel to ensure validity.
  • Perform Qualification Audits for 3rd Party Logistics Services Providers in collaboration with Logistics operations.
  • Monitor changes and interpretations of new and existing regulations as well as industry standards in the region.
  • Communicate dangerous goods classification changes to relative personnel to minimize disturbance on logistics operations.

 

Skills That Make a Difference:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Chemical Engineering, or related field.
  • Technical background in HSE and Transportation.
  • 5+ years hands on combined experience in logistics / site logistics / manufacturing.
  • Auditing experience is preferred.
