Leidos’s Office of Technology, Digital Modernization Sector team currently has an immediate opening for a Cyber Security Solution Architect.

Position Summary

In this position, you will support growth and opportunities by architecting and design security solutions in support of federal civilian agencies and Department of Defense (DoD) customers in the U.S. and worldwide. You will work closely with business development, internal research & development (IRAD) and other subject matter expert (SME) staff to support new business development, including pre-proposal capture support and proposal development. You will help prospective customers and partners understand the value and benefits of the Leidos solution, explain technical features and transformation strategies and engage in demonstrations. Additionally, your responsibilities could include supporting IRAD projects to develop mission focused solutions and delivering technical innovations for existing customers. Opportunities may require up to 25% domestic travel as needed to support customer meetings, attend conferences and work onsite with proposal teams. Candidates should either possess or be capable of obtaining a DoD Clearance a Secret level. 

Primary Responsibilities
•Serve as a lead technical architect across the new business pursuit lifecycle and within an integrated growth team, including proposal, capture, and business development activities.
•Provide end-to-end thought leadership across proposal responses that include elements such as technical solution, partners, staffing, implementation schedule, and BOE.
•Lead solution development across the following Network Technology:  RMF, A&A, ATO, Information Assurance, Defensive Cyber Operations, Zero trust, Network and/or Endpoint Defense Technologies, Cyber security compliance, 
•Lead development of notional, logical, and physical solutions diagram and integration of solution into customer’s environment in a manner that fully meets all technical and management requirements.
•Provide technical writing capabilities in the development of technical artifacts, white papers, statements of work, briefings, and proposals, etc.
•Support customer meetings to understand customer requirements and provide solution presentations to the customer.
•Lead responses to customer RFI’s, White Papers and RFPs leveraging Leidos and Partner solutions.
•Work with teaming partners and product vendors to develop technical solutions, integration of teaming partners’ capabilities, and pricing strategies, etc.
•Work with engineering staff to extract information in a structured process to create winning technical solutions for proposals
•Support the startup of our winning proposals

Basic Qualifications
•Requires BS degree and 1+ years of prior relevant experience. Additional years experience may be used in lieu of a degree.
•6+ years of experience leading technical teams 
•Excellent written and oral communication capability with the ability to communicate with executive leadership regarding matters of significant importance to the organization
•Experience designing and delivering defensive cyber security technology and policies towards an increased hardening of an organizations security posture.
•Experience performing IT systems engineering functions to include requirement analysis, and Architecture development and engineering trade-offs.
•Experience with proposals and program execution.
•Experience with project management and understanding of project management functions
•Familiarity with IT Operations to include multi-tier service desk and SLA management
•Capable of obtaining a DoD Secret clearance

Preferred Qualifications
•Commercial or federal IT engineering leadership experience as a Cyber Security Information System SME
•Experienced proposing and injecting new technology advancements into ongoing operations.
•Experience estimating technical and operations costs and planning delivery of new IT projects.  
•Experience identifying and assessing business impacts to proposed changes to a largely technical solution or enterprise operations.
•Experience hardening cloud and multi-cloud environments
•Experience as a solution architect and/or technical volume lead on captures and proposals
•Experience articulating complex technical concepts to customers, business development, program delivery, technical teams, and executives, both orally and in writing
•Experience with MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, Federal EO, OMB Mandates, Federal regulations and industry cyber policies and standards.
•Experience w/ DoD and DISA and Federal Civilian Networks
•Strong project management skills
•CISSP, and CGRC Preferred Certifications
•This position is a full-time telecommuter and ideally based in the Washington DC Metro area, but this is not required

Pay Range:

Pay Range $122,200.00 - $220,900.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
