As a DevSecOps Engineer, you’ll work with multiple development and product teams to build and deploy robust systems by building a resilient infrastructure using infrastructure as code (IaC).

We are now looking for a DevSecOps Engineer to strengthen the Site Reliability Engineering team. You’ll build in redundancy, implement monitoring tools, and automate wherever possible. You’ll reduce toil by scripting routine tasks and automating self-repair. Our goal is to make systems resilient and efficient to accelerate innovation and time to market!

With this position we offer :

Join the Platform Engineering team for Nasdaq Capital Access Platforms (CAP). The main objective for the Platform Engineering team is to build state of the art infrastructure and services to support multiple business units under the CAP umbrella that leverage AWS and Azure for cloud platforms. The Platform Engineering team works closely with all development teams to ensure developer velocity and platform reliability.

Your role and responsibilities:

You will work closely with SRE, Developer Experience (DevX), and development teams across the globe to deliver software across multiple cloud partners and infrastructures.  You will be responsible for building and deploying infrastructure in a secure, reliable, and scalable way.

Furthermore, you will: 

  • Deploy and maintain AWS and Azure cloud Infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC). 
  • Ensure scalable architectures that can handle varying loads and complexity. 
  • Develop and deploy scripts and tools to enhance Operational and Developer efficiency (DevEx). 
  • Participate in regular audits and assessments to ensure cloud infrastructure meets compliance standards. 
  • Automate security checks as part of the SDLC process.
  • Manage and monitor cloud infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency. 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to cloud infrastructure and services. 
  • Act as an escalation point for faults, attend/lead investigation into incidents and complete follow up tasks. 
  • Participate in an on-call rotation.  

We expect you to have: 


  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of DevOps experience with understanding of DevSecOps practices and tools.
  • Must have deep experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools. 
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or PowerShell. 
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Gitlab and Jenkins. 
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols. 
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools like DataDog. 
  • Knowledge of best practices for securing cloud infrastructure.
  • Extensive knowledge of at least one cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Familiarity with patching, upgrading, backing up, and securing an Operating System (Linux or Windows).
  • Education Qualification: Bachelor/Master in computer science or information technology.

It would be great if you :

  • Knowledge on programming languages such as C# and Go is a plus.
  • Experience in both Azure and AWS.
  • Experience in Azure DevOps.
  • Knowledge of Azure is a plus.
  • Having knowledge of both Windows and Linux is a plus.
  • Understanding of SAAS platforms, private cloud architecture is a plus.
