About the Internship:
We are seeking dedicated Interns to join our dynamic team at Safe Security. This role provides a unique opportunity to deepen knowledge and understanding of cybersecurity measures and their challenges by analysing Threat Actors (TA) and Threat Event Frequency (TEF). It also offers the chance to address unsolved problems in cybersecurity.
Location: New Delhi or Bengaluru

Core Responsibilities:

  • Research Threats: Study threat actors' behaviours by analysing various sources of threat information.
  • Use Threat Intelligence Tools: Analyze and correlate threat events using specialized tools to find patterns in threat actors' behaviour.
  • Automate Research: Automate repetitive research tasks to deliver faster and more accurate analysis.

Essential Skills:

  • Threat Research:  Skilled in conducting in-depth threat research, tracking threat actor tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), and identifying emerging threats. Experienced in using threat intelligence platforms, OSINT tools
  • Web Application Security: In-depth understanding of web security principles, including OWASP Top Ten vulnerabilities, secure coding practices, and vulnerability assessment tools.
  • Network Security: In-depth understanding of common network attacks and vulnerabilities.
  • Programming: Strong programming skills with a focus on Python, leveraging its libraries and frameworks for data analysis, automation, and scripting.
  • Problem Solver: Skilled at analyzing complex security challenges and identifying practical, effective solutions. Adept at using logical reasoning, analytical skills, and creative thinking to resolve issues.
  • Git and GitHub: Well-versed in version control systems, code collaboration, branching, merging, and maintaining repositories.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Available for a full-time, in-office internship
  • Available for the full duration of 6 months
  • Based in or willing to relocate to Delhi or Bengaluru
  • Possess relevant skills and interests in cybersecurity

Additional Qualifications:

  • Proficient understanding of Cybersecurity and Application Security
  • Strong commitment to enhancing the safety of cyberspace
