What you’ll bring.

We are looking for a talented Security support engineer/Vulnerability Management to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in building pipelines, integration security tools, knowledge of Git. You will be responsible for on boarding the engineering teams and their projects to our internal product and ensuring that security scans are run properly. Also, verify fixes and perform follow-ups testing to ensure issues are resolved. This role demands cybersecurity principles, IT Infra systems, networking principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams.

Responsibilities.

  • Collaborate with IT and application teams to ensure timely remediation of identified vulnerabilities.
  • Conduct regular security scans to identify potential security weaknesses.
  • Optimize scanning schedules and policies to maximize coverage and efficiency.
  • Stay up to date with the latest security trends, tools, and technologies.
  • Security Testing tools: Knowledge of SAST, DAST and software composition analysis (SCA) tools like SonarQube, Checkmarx or OWASP ZAP to find vulnerabilities early in the development cycle.
  • Integrate security tools such as SAST, DAST and SCA into CI/CD pipelines.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in security operations or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of common vulnerabilities and exposures (CVEs), CVSS and vulnerability databases.
  • Familiarity with security frameworks such as OWASP, NIST and ISO 27001.
  • Automation tools: Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Gitlab CI, CircleCI, and automating security scans within the development pipeline.
  • Experience with cloud security and DevSecOps practices.
  • Ability to quickly diagnose and resolve security issues in a high-pressure environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Extensive experience with Application security testing tools such as HCL-ASoC, Synopsys Polaris fast or any other industry known tool.
