Job Description

Cyber Security Service Manager
Location: Candidate can be based anywhere in the UK with willingness to travel to Telefonica Tech offices (Cambrigeshire, London) & client HQ

As a Cyber Security Service Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing and delivering cybersecurity services to our clients. You will act as the primary liaison between our organization and assigned clients, ensuring that all contracted services are executed to the highest standards. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the management of service contracts, coordinating specialised working groups, and providing expert consultation on cybersecurity matters. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing technical escalations and ensuring a prompt response to security incidents. This role requires a deep understanding of cybersecurity practices, strong client management skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively. Proficiency in multiple languages and relevant certifications will further enhance your ability to excel in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients regarding contracted cybersecurity services.
  • Oversee the management of cybersecurity service contracts, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints and milestone deadlines.
  • Lead and coordinate working groups, either fully or partially dedicated to assigned clients.
  • Provide expert advice and consultation on cybersecurity matters for clients.
  • Facilitate interaction with commercial teams, business development units, suppliers, and manufacturers involved with assigned clients.
  • Manage technical escalations and coordinate responses to security incidents or issues for clients.

Technical Knowledge:

  • Comprehensive knowledge across all areas of cybersecurity, including:
    • Perimeter security and system security solutions
    • Security monitoring systems and incident management
    • Cyber threats and vulnerabilities management
    • Offensive security practices
    • Detection and response strategies
    • Forensic analysis
    • Regulatory compliance

Soft Skills:

  • Strong client management skills, crisis management capabilities, and the ability to navigate complex problems requiring collaboration across various areas, departments, or companies.
  • Excellent communication skills, leadership abilities, and team management experience.

 

Qualifications

Certifications:

  • CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
  • CISM (Certified Information Security Manager)
  • Advanced Technical Certifications

  • Must have the right to live and work in the UK
  • Must have full and valid UK driving licence and access to own transport to travel between sites
  • Any offer would be conditional upon the successful candidate passing a full DBS national security vetting process
  • Compliance to ISO27001, ISO27018, ISO20000, ISO22301 and ISO9001 is essential to our business. Quality, IT Service Management, Business Continuity and Information security awareness, education and training are given regularly.

The role will require being put through SC Clearance - if you already hold SC/DV that would be advantageous
