THE ROLE & THE TEAM

As a Senior Cloud Security Infrastructure Engineer you will play a key role within our Cloud Security Engineering team, contributing to the design, development, and implementation of secure cloud infrastructure solutions. You will collaborate on initiatives aimed at enhancing cloud security, ensuring high standards across our infrastructure. Your expertise will be vital in guiding the organization in maintaining strong cloud security practices, while mentoring junior engineers and fostering a security-conscious culture.

WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING) 

• Collaborate on cloud security initiatives, contributing to the development and execution of cloud security strategies that protect our infrastructure from evolving threats.

• Implement automation solutions to improve cloud security posture and optimize security operations.

• Continuously improve the security of cloud infrastructure, ensuring resilience against abuse, malicious activities, and emerging threats.

• Support secure containerized environments and CI/CD pipelines by building security into processes with developer-friendly guardrails.

• Help develop security processes for cloud infrastructure provisioning, emphasizing least-privilege principles and zero-trust models.

• Act as a mentor to junior engineers, providing guidance on cloud security best practices.

• Own the process of identifying, remediating, and validating high-severity security issues, minimizing disruption to the organization and customers.

WE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF

• You have 5+ years of experience contributing to cloud security initiatives and building secure infrastructures in platforms like AWS and GCP.

• You have a strong understanding of cloud and network security and stay current on evolving threats and best practices.

• You are proficient with cloud-native technologies, including CI/CD, containers, Kubernetes, serverless, and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform).

• You have experience with scripting and automation (Python, Bash, or Go) for security processes within CI/CD pipelines.

• You are passionate about cloud security and motivated to enhance security in a dynamic cloud environment.

• You enjoy solving complex security challenges and mentoring others in adopting cloud security best practices.
