The Associate SecOps Analyst at HUB24 will enhance security practices and awareness by developing, implementing, and managing security measures across applications, networks, servers, and end-user devices. This role involves responding to vulnerability alerts and incidents, as well as proactively monitoring security and will also act as an escalation point for the SOC, developers, and support teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical analysis, security administration, and daily support for HUB24 and its clients.
  • Develop and enhance security operational processes for cloud and on-premise technologies.
  • Manage vulnerabilities and ensure secure operations of cloud, network, software, and IT infrastructure.
  • Offer technical expertise for security operations.
  • Collaborate on strategic initiatives through creative thinking.
  • Adhere to policies and regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance and advising on necessary revisions.
  • Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of systems in line with privacy and financial regulations.
  • Keep accurate documentation, including change requests, technical guides, and asset registers.
  • Work collaboratively, sharing responsibilities and providing backup support to team members.

Requirement:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field (IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity) preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of various technologies.
  • Familiarity with one or more of the following areas:
  • Vulnerability management tools (e.g., CrowdStrike, Qualys)
  • Security threat monitoring and risk assessment (including SIEM)
  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA)
  • Programming and scripting languages (.NET, C#, Java)
  • Web services and application servers
  • Security frameworks (e.g., ISO27001)
  • Office 365 configuration and support
  • Public cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud)
  • Understanding of operating systems for both workstations and servers.
  • Awareness of ICT security principles in hybrid cloud environments.
  • Ability to research and understand security best practices.
  • Basic familiarity with current IT security technologies and trends.
  • Proficient in documenting security policies and procedures.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Previous experience with security operations in a corporate environment is advantageous.
