Identity and Access Management (IAM) is the base of the implementation of any digital system that ASML uses to collaborate in a highly complex ecosystem. Considering the current and projected growth of ASML and its growing importance and attention on a global scale, it is essential to accelerate digital transformation, prevent cyber-attacks, simplify digital processes, increase the security levels of transactions and improve the user experience.

As a Senior IAM Risk and Security Analyst, you will be instrumental in supporting and maintaining secure & compliant Identity and Access Management (IAM) across ASML. This role requires active participation in the development and enhancement of Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies and practices, ensuring they align with both business needs and regulatory standards. You will work within our Identity and Access Management (IAM) team, which operates as part of our commitment to the three lines of defense model, focusing specifically on risk management and compliance aspects of Identity and Access Management (IAM) .

As Senior IAM Risk and Security Analyst you’ll contribute to ASML’s strategic objectives by supporting integrated risk management efforts related to Identity and Access Management (IAM) across our ecosystem. In the Identity and Access Management (IAM) team, you will help define and refine ASML’s Identity and Access Management (IAM) strategies, enhancing stakeholder awareness and participation in the Identity and Access Management (IAM) framework.

You will also be acting as the business owner for the Identity and Access Management (IAM) deliverables and ensure that Identity and Access Management (IAM) practices enhance the security levels and improve the user experience by adhering to compliance and governance standards.

To be successful, you’ll need to proactively supports initiatives that foster collaboration and integration across our ecosystem and contribute to the development of solutions that support ASML’s strategic goals within the Identity and Access Management (IAM) framework. You’ll need to do this by working closely with cross-functional teams to align Identity and Access Management (IAM) practices with ASML’s broader Risk and Security framework, and help to set standards for the ecosystem and help ensuring that enhancements to Identity and Access Management (IAM) processes are prioritized and aligned with business needs.

Job responsibilities

  • Support the awareness of internal stakeholders regarding priority business opportunities and risks associated with Identity and Access Management (IAM) at ASML.
  • Contribute to monitoring and reporting controls in place to track progress and prioritize further improvement initiatives related to Identity and Access Management (IAM).
  • Aid in developing architectural guidance on how to enhance and address gaps within Identity and Access Management (IAM) capabilities, including process design, role definitions, organizational impact, as well as applications and interfaces that support these capabilities.

Education and experience

  • Academic degree in Information Management and/or Business Economics or related education
  • Several years of relevant experience in a role focused on Identity and Access Management (IAM), preferably within a multinational environment
  • Strong understanding of risk management principles and compliance regulations specific to Identity and Access Management (IAM)
  • Proven experience in the domains of Identity and Access Management (IAM) within the technology sector is highly valuable.
  • Prior involvement with Agile and SAFe frameworks is beneficial, providing a strong foundation for contributing effectively to this role

  • Ability to balance the needs of Identity and Access Management (IAM) with broader business objectives, coordinating effetely across different sectors/departments.
  • High standards of quality and precision in task management, with a keen eye for detail tat ensures robustness in Identity and Access Management (IAM) processes.
  • Strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple initiatives simultaneously and delivering results on time.
  • Fluent in English, with proficiency in Dutch being advantageous.

Context of the position

The Senior IAM Risk and Security Analyst reports into the Security function within Risk & Business Assurance (RBA), directly to the Head of the IAM Digital Identity/Access department. RBA provides state-of-art expertise, insights and assurance, enabling ASML to achieve its objectives while managing business opportunities and business risks in a responsible manner. You will be working with key business stakeholders as well as product managers/owners and architects (responsible for the development and delivery of IAM services) in translating the RBA strategy and vision to integrated opportunity and risk management for IAM.
