About the role:

The Security Engineering Specialist role is to use advanced experience and knowledge of different programming languages to create and maintain programs and applications. The role is expected to learn defined programming languages and methodologies while also continuously expanding skillsets and certifications. The role includes the analysis of requirements and functional specifications to design, build, test, implement and support corrections and or enhancements.

The role is expected to develop integrated solutions aligned with TD SYNNEX’s business units utilizing robust computing architectures in multi-tier environments. 

What you'll do:

• Develop PingFederate adapters and custom drivers using Java SDK (authentication adapter, custom data source driver, password credential validator).

• Create composite adapter for Multifactor Authentication via PingFederate.

• Develop applications following architectural standards.

• Prepare test plans, conduct regression and integration testing.

• Collaborate with IT teams to support project implementation.

• Create design documents and manage system design.

• Quickly resolve issues and collaborate on solutions.

• Participate in incident retrospectives and document mitigations.

• Define application scope and objectives to solve business problems.

• Monitor project progress, addressing potential issues.

What we're kindly looking for:

• Bachelor's Degree with Computer Science / MIS field of study required.

• 5 to 8 Years of relevant work experience

• Thorough understanding of OAuth2, SAML, OpenID Connect (OIDC) standards

• Experience with IAM technologies that consist of Ping Federate and Ping One or willingness & skills to learn it fast

• 5+ years using C# .NET

• 1+ years using JAVA

• Background using LDAP

• Background using Azure DevOps

• Experience using Git

• Expert in generating, implementing SSL certificates in both IIS and Apache
