Cyber Security Operations
Manage cyber security operations to continuously respond to threats, vulnerabilities and incidents.
- Manage IT Security operations and ensure systems and processes are kept up to date in line with industry standards and protect from latest threats
- Ensuring any issue or outage cause by a Cyber Security threat is identified, assessed and remediated
- Work with IT security related vendors ensuring SLA’s are met and that vendor is meeting all contractual obligations
- Manage threat and vulnerability practices, and remediation through third-party service providers and internal IT operations teams are performed optimally.
- Analyse the cyber security risks arising from threats and vulnerabilities and manage prioritisation and urgency of remediation activities with platform owners.
- Manage SOC operations, L1 / Triage is currently delivered by the third-party service provider
- Perform L2/L3 cyber security incident response, lead the investigations into security alerts SOC operations that is currently delivered by the third-party service provider
- Continuously review and improve the detection capability to improve quality.
- Provide periodic reporting to CISO and senior management on vulnerability and threat response
- Develop, maintain and comply with Cybersecurity Incident Response Plan and playbooks.
- Lead the response to cyber security incidents. Assist CISO and senior management in responding to major cyber security incidents.
- Manage the third-party service provider delivering healthcare OT/Biomedical devices security monitoring and response.
- Lead threat, vulnerability and incident response to response to OT / Biomedical devices.
Cyber Security Engineering
- Own, manage and support cyber security platforms that delivers protection, monitoring, auditing and assessment capabilities.
- Comply with organisational ITSM process
- Continually assess IT Infrastructure and Business Application platforms are configured securely, work with platform owners to address security concerns.
- Continually learn about emerging cyber security trends and improve security posture.
- Maintain and increase Mercy Health’s Information Security maturity by provision of effective and timely IT Security control measures.
Cyber Security program
Support the delivery of Cyber security program and roadmap deliverables as per cyber security strategy.
- Provide technical leadership and subject matter specialist advise to support security program deliverables
