phia is seeking a motivated Senior Cybersecurity Engineer with a passion for protecting large enterprises from cyber threats and a desire to advance their career in a dynamic and challenging environment. In this position you will be working as part of a small cross-functional team and participate in development and support the team's effort to maintain a secure web presence. You will also be responsible for managing web security applications to monitor and mitigate attacks on web facing applications. This is a remote job that requires U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain a public trust.

What You'll Do
- Ensure internal and external data security, adhering to best practices and compliance standards.
- Implement observability across platforms for application monitoring and alerting.
- Deploy threat detection and mitigation techniques to ensure data/application security.
- Work with auditors to ensure security compliance.
Required: Education + Experience
- Bachelor's degree with at least 10+ years of professional experience; or equivalent experience/combined education; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree
- experience and education that would equal 1-3 years of relevant work experience with a record of accomplishment.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field, Or equivalent work experience
- Functional comprehension of web application architecture.
- Understanding of PCI Security requirements.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Security Clearance
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Ability to obtain Public Trust (or higher) government clearance
Certifications (one or more required)
- CompTIA Net+
- CompTIA A+
- CompTIA Security +
- CPTE - Certified Penetration Testing Engineer or CEH - Certified Ethical Hacker
- Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP)
