The Impact You’ll Make in this Role 

As an IT Specialist – Cyber Security you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.  

Here, you will make an impact by: 

  • Providing advanced Cyber Incident analysis, handling, and response activities, providing digital forensic capabilities, relevant artifact identification and collection, and initial analysis

  • Working in conjunction with security solutions specialists to provide feedback and requirements on security technologies, including Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems, Firewalls and Log Analysis, SIEM, Network Behavior Analysis Tools, Antivirus, Network Packet Analyzers, malware analysis, and forensic tools

  • Creating and maintaining automation scripts for incident data examination

  • Identifying points with security solutions specialists where incident detection or response can be further automated, or possible scenarios where a use case is giving false positives

  • Collaborating on Threat Hunting activities to evaluate and detect potential threat activity

  • Equivalent working time system. Service Scope: (Monday - Friday) 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM and (Saturday - Sunday) 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM including Public Holidays

Your Skills and Expertise   

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications: 

  • 2-3 years of security experience with at least 4 years of total IT background

  • IT Security Operations Center environment experience (incident response) with security monitoring experience

  • Experience with SIEM administration and content (use cases) development

  • CISSP, SANS Certifications, or other equivalents

  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, technical, and troubleshooting skills

  • Experience with SIEM administration and content (use cases) development

  • Fluent in speaking and writing English

  • Cybersecurity self-development drive.
