About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and self-motivated IT Infrastructure Specialist with expertise in Microsoft 365 and IT security governance. This role is primarily focused on providing IT support, managing the Microsoft 365 framework in conjunction with Apple hardware, and ensuring the security of our information systems. The ideal candidate will thrive in a largely independent work environment, driving initiatives to migrate our current email systems from Google Suite to Microsoft 365 while also addressing any backlog IT infrastructure tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• IT Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Microsoft 365 applications and Apple hardware, ensuring seamless user experience and operational efficiency.
• Microsoft 365 Management: Expertly manage and optimize the Microsoft 365 environment, including user administration, permissions, and best practices for collaboration tools.
• IT Security and Governance: Develop and implement Information Security Management System (ISMS) protocols to establish and maintain security standards.
  While audits are not required, the candidate must ensure that systems align with ISO security levels.
• Migration Management: Lead the migration of email and collaboration tools from Google Suite (Gmail, etc.) to Microsoft 365, ensuring data integrity and minimal disruption to users.
• Infrastructure Backlog Management: Address and prioritize IT infrastructure tasks, managing workload effectively to meet deadlines and ensure operational continuity.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of IT processes, security protocols, and system configurations. Provide regular updates to management on project status and any issues encountered.

Requirements

Hard Skills:

• Proven expertise in Microsoft 365, including advanced features and administration.
• Experience with IT security frameworks and governance practices.
• Familiarity with Apple hardware and operating systems.
• Strong understanding of information security standards, particularly ISO compliance.

Soft Skills:

• Self-sufficient and independent, able to work effectively in a solo capacity with minimal management oversight.
• Excellent proficiency in English, both written and verbal, to facilitate clear communication with stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Degree in IT/Networking & Infrastructure/Cyber Security or any similar qualifications.
• Relevant certifications in Microsoft 365, IT security (e.g., CISSP, CISM), or related fields.
• Previous experience in a similar IT support role or infrastructure management position.
