About the Role:
Position Summary
The Team leader Security & Transport manages day-to-day activities related transport and security operations at the assigned location and key point of contact for business.A solution orientated attitude with strong client service and relationship leadership skills. Able to challenge and influence business leaders while maintaining a co-operative and collaborative approach.
Key Result Areas
Site Operations Management
– Act as Location Safety and Security Officer (LSSO)
– Act as liaison officer with various government and law enforcement agencies as needed based on scope define in target standards
– Supervise the Access Control, CCTV, and other Security Systems and issue / track / destruction of access cards
– Coordinate development of Security, OHS and emergency response plan.
– Facilitate all vital trainings to the business, employee, and security team.
– Review the local security procedures in regular basis, completing the Site Security & Safety Assessment which required by security leadership.
– Regularly review and maintain all security and OHS document, ensure all documents and records are available.
– Ensure safe practices are put in place to own the transport operations and highlight to business if
there are any challenges with regards to operations.
– Responsible for leading and managing all transport and security outsourced services, resolving any underperformance or issues and improvement initiatives.
– Recommend continuous quality improvement practices and implement Industry standard processes.
– Provide superior customer experience and minimize disruptions through effective communication and scheduling.
– Engagement with landlord facility management and security teams for seamless support on operations
– Review existing operations regularly to reduce costs and improve operational standards
– Able to respond to emergency situation in 24x7 Risk Management
– Ensure a property risk management program including audits is implemented and maintained
– Ensure disaster recovering and business continuity plans are supported and maintained as per management guidelines.
– Ensure compliance with statutory regulations on fire, health and safety standards
– Ensure escalation procedures and incident reporting (ICT) procedures are implemented and in place
– Achieve Key Performance Indicators and business Service Level Agreement targets
Business Stakeholder Management:
– Proactively engage stakeholders to ensure that on site business leaders’ expectations are met.
– Build and develop effective collaboration across multiple levels of the organization
– On-site primary representative for CRES security and transport operations
– Regular engagement and exchange of information and standard methodologies with RSRs, GSEs, Corporate security and BCM teams
Procurement & Vendor Management
– Ensure that vendor procurement processes comply with Swiss Re's sourcing, procurement policies
– Ensure vendors are well-managed, delivering services on time and within budget
– Ensure vendors deliver service within defined SLAs and TATs. Prepare and own consequence
management process to mitigate misses
Contracts Management
– Plan and handle all workplace contracts for the site to ensure that they are professionally delivered
at the right costs.
– Ensure expiry of contracts are well-monitored and re-procurement is initiated if needed
– Ensure contracts are continually assessed to deliver the best value to the client
Finance Management
– Actively work to ensure that the financial operations are meeting targets and control requirements
– Ensure financial processes, timelines of submission, adjustments of division is adhered to
– Timely tracking of budget v/s actuals, invoices and follow up on timely submission and payment
About the Team (Description of the team and context in which the role sits in)
The team handles all Real Estate and Services operations and develops and provides professional solutions
to our customers at all levels in the organization. We are a trusted advisors and partner ensuring the highest
levels of service and standards are consistently delivered.
About you:
– Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in any field and 7+ years’ experience in security operations,transport or related field
– Understands basic technical aspects of property (Computer Room Air-conditioning, Chiller system,
- Fire Protection system, Mechanical & Electrical system, EMS system)
– Capacity to understand and interpret commercial contracts
– Strong budget management and financial analysis skills
– Solid understanding in transport, transport operations and workplace services
– Should be able to drive organizational changes in a structured manner with the least disruptions
– Membership of international security association like ASIS, SAI, APSA etc.
